The smallest VAWT - Vind Turbin C.O. turbines can power low-watt DC equipment in places with a high probability of frequent medium-high wind speeds. Suitable areas include seashore & small islands, outcroppings, mountain/hill tops, marine environment on boats, buoys, drill rig-tops, etc.
Cut-in speed and power output at any given wind speed varies depending on generator configuration (Star/Delta) & charging voltage (12/24VDC).
